Getting Started
So this could be a pretty hard blog to write, but perhaps doing so will be a good thing. We think that this way, it will be easier to keep our friends and family informed as to Melissa's progress. Sometimes I will post and at others, Melis' will. We encourage those who wish to follow along with Melissa's progress to subscribe to the blog. I can say that we really appreciate the words of support that everybody has offered. Thank you.

Thanks guys for the detailed information - it is really helpful for those of us who are concerned and want to know how things are with you. When I had cancer - (18 years ago!!!) I also was upfront - it was easier for me to handle it that way and I wrote a letter to my colleagues and parents giving them "the facts" which meant I didn't have to keep answering the same questions. Please continue to keep us posted. Such a relief to know it will be ok - even though you have a bit of an ordeal in the near future. Let us know what we can do and also when we can hang out.
